A new musical based around and inspired by the songs of Pat Drummond and Geoff Drummond. When Matt Morrison is routinely and savagely bullied at school, he escapes to the Royal Easter Show where he meets a young country girl and falls in love. When something horrible happens to a friend, Matt blames himself and runs away from family, friends and the only life he knew. Years later, when called home for a family crisis, can he face them all again and rebuild his relationships?
Getting There was performed by the Rocky Hill Musical Theatre Company from August 3 until August 18, 2018 at the Goulburn High School Hall.
